Inspired by the japanese culture and their know-how when woking with materials, Makila was created for a client who could easily transport and build it up in her home.
Makila is a combination of engeneering and craftsmanship, resulting in a bench-shelf where the details and lightness are the distinguising marks.
The idea was to create a piece of furniture that could not only work as a shelf, but also to be part of the products that are stored in it.
